How to add users to a channel?



a. By Story Feeds

1.     Open the sidebar and click on Story Feeds.

2.     Click on Manage Channels, under Explore.

3.     Enter the name of the channel you wish to edit in the search bar. The results are shown below.

4.     Click on the Three Dots at the right end of the channel name.

5.     Select Manage Users and the Channel Assignment - Enroll Users  screen opens.

6.     Enter the name of the user you wish to add in the search bar. The results are shown below.

7.     Check the box under Select, for the user you wish to add.

8.     Using steps 6 & 7, you can assign multiple users.

9.     After selecting the users, click on Confirm, a blue box at the lower right end of the screen, to assign users to the channel.

 

b. By User Management

1.     Open the sidebar, click on User Management and choose Users.

2.     Click the purple Filter button in the upper left corner of the screen to narrow down your search. Choose the Roles and Status using the dropdown menus. You can also filter users in terms of the group types you have set in Settings, by checking the checkboxes in the respective dropdown menus. Click Apply Filter to view the results.

3.     Alternatively, if you know it, enter the name or email ID of the user in the search bar in the upper right corner of the screen. The search results are shown below.

4.     For the required user, click on Edit, under Action. The Edit User form opens.

5.     Click on Channels, next to Training.

6.     Click on the Assign Channels button and the Assign Channels window opens showing the available channels. You can also search for a particular channel by typing the name of the channel in the space indicated by “Search”.

7.     Check the checkboxes for the channels you wish to assign to the user and click Assign.

8.     You can now close the form by clicking the X button at the top right of the form.
